Executive Assistant to CEO

OPPORTUNITY
  • Obtain experience by immersing yourself in a growing startup ecosystem
  • Proactively connect leading people, ideas and resources across continents
  • Work as part of a global team across 8 countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Europe
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate daily calendar of CEO
  • Plan appointments and events
  • Act as the main point of contact between CEO (primary function), plus broader management team (secondary) and employees / external clients
  • Create reports and update internal databases (including CEO’s contacts)
  • Book CEO’s travel schedule
  • Help manage CEO’s emails, prioritisation and draft replies
  • Respond in a timely manner to management queries
  • Facilitate internal communication (e.g. distribute information and schedule presentations)
  • Suggest more efficient ways to run the office and troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Review and recommend changes to company policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to local business of Nest’s Bahrain office (e.g. banks / connectivity / office related)
  • Support Nest's communications with local public and private institutions
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • ‘As native’ fluency in English language writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks and work under time pressure
  • Capability to work easily with characterful people from diverse backgrounds, plus multinational corporates, financial institutions, and government bodies
  • Motivation to be proactive in working style, constantly learn and improve
  • Experience in working with virtual teams across multiple regions
  • Knowledge of local Bahraini practices and customs required to execute business
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
