Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Maggie spent the last ten years living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area, relocating to Hong Kong in 2017. Her background is an eclectic blend of experience in the food & beverage, arts, and tech industries, primarily in public relations, marketing, and events management.
After a few years spent with a commercial real estate listing startup in San Francisco, Maggie left the tech world to join a small start-up bakery, which turned into a career providing PR and consulting services for Bay Area restaurants, bars, cookbooks and chefs. She’s also worked with a number of culinary pop-ups, food projects, and arts projects in the Bay Area and Honolulu, and spent years volunteering for the SF Center for the Book in an event coordination and marketing capacity.
Maggie is passionate about bringing people together to cultivate creativity, and being part of Mettā's mission to spark and support entrepreneurial vision.
